Still the one!

Yeah when all is said and done "My Green Tea" is still the one.

I have sampled some worthy contenders, even tea's that have won some awards... But this tea is still the one. good for at least three infusions if you handle it right. No taste of preservatives that can be overpowering in some teas. Yeah baby, your still the one!

It is funny though, what comes to mind about this tea is what it dose not have. But I should add that the flavor is tasty and enjoyable. I recommend brewing at 140f and only steeping for about a minuet for best results.

I don't know, Jordan, but the Google ad for organic green tea, to my nose, gives a whiff of something added on that was not originally there!

It's like the trailer in the previous post, using "ARI NO MAMA" (What is, as it is) as an advertizing slogan to market a film.

The film will probably inspire many people to get into Zen, filling their heads with fanciful notions.

Good or bad, I don't know. Interesting anyway.

Keep on keeping on!

National Whiners Day? Ha! Good info on "My Green Tea." Thanks! Kyohei Sugimoto has a blog on his tea website. Take care.

Mike,

I have had some organic green teas that did not pass muster. I don't have too much control over the adds though. they just populate based on what I write about in the blog posts.

As for the film.. maybe not good not bad. I think it will be entertaining for me and It may inspire others to practice, as you said, who knows. I am sure to enjoy the eye-candy though.

Keeping on!

Thanks Jordan. Your post made me think about what purity and impurity is. In general, I am prone to react against what has a whiff of impurity about it. It might be the mirror principle. Yes, I tend unconsciously to hate impurity -- especially in myself!

All the best,

Mike

Mike,

I have a tiny pond with some goldfish in my back yard. It used to get nasty with algae in the summer so I would drain it and put chemicals in it to kill the algae.
Those chemicals would usually destroy all the life in the pond. Including my fish if it were not measured correctly. But if you did not use enought the algea would not go away. I learned to not kill off all the algea as to not kill the fish along with it.

We have to be careful in our desire for purity to not kill the fish. Because like the old story says... Pure water has no fish.

Keeping on,
Jordan

Sounds pretty good, I just made an order myself, although from my personal favorite tea site, being as I havnt tried sencha or matcha before, I ordered some samples of what they had to offer at my favorite place to buy tea, I also ordered a 250 gram bag of chai, some Hattiali estate assam, Moroccan green mint, and a couple sample packages of other various teas which I thought sounded interesting, cant wait to get them.^_^

Curator,
You will find the teas from "my green tea" to be a different from what you are used to. Unfortunately it may have ruined my appreciation for anything else calling itself tea.

Enjoy!

I'll have to try them when I have more money coming in, for now I'll have to settle for my cheaper tea,lol...

It is about a 6 hr drive from you to me. But the fuel would be unfortunately much more than the cost of the tea. On the plus side, it would be made using tried and true parameters!

But, the invitation is open, just make sure I have the tea in stock before you make the trip!

Happy new year!

Cool Jordan, thanks for the link -- I'm gonna order some soon.

Been hitting the yerba matte today, not exactly tea but a quality hot beverage in of itself.

* My word verification was "bumbstat", now that's just funny.
