I think that looks like a kitchen storage area. I'm really amazed that the items are undisturbed, the space not completely pillaged for its items. There must be flashier cooking pots around ... :}
Those simple artifacts of ordinary life would so rarely be showcased in the limited spaces of museums, I think it's really a "treat", to be able to see even of a photo of which. Gassho.
